BOOKING, REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY.
This policy outlines the terms and conditions related to reservations and deposits at Vinteloper, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
Bookings:
We highly recommend making bookings in advance, especially for peak dining times and special occasions.
Bookings can be made online through our website, by phone, or in person.
We will make every effort to accommodate your preferred seating request, but cannot guarantee it.
Deposits paid to secure bookings:
For certain bookings, such as large groups or special events, we may require a deposit to secure your booking.
The deposit amount will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
Deposits can be paid by credit card, debit card, or other agreed-upon methods.
Cancellations:
By the Customer:
If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible.
If you cancel within 7 days of your reservation time, your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations made prior to this timeframe may be eligible for a partial or full refund of the deposit.
By Vinteloper:
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your reservation, we will provide a full refund of your deposit and make every effort to offer you an alternative booking time.
No-Shows:
If you fail to arrive for your booking without prior notice, your deposit will be forfeited.
Exceptional Circumstances:
Consumer guarantees: If we fail to meet consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund, including your deposit, depending on the nature of the issue.
Unforeseen events: In situations involving unforeseen events beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), we may offer alternative arrangements or a refund, including the deposit, at our discretion.
Amendments:
We will do our best to accommodate any amendments to your reservation, but cannot guarantee availability.
Amendments made with less than 7 days notice may result in the forfeiture of your deposit.
Communication:
This policy is available on our website (you are reading it here) and can be provided upon request.
Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding this policy.
Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes regarding reservations or deposits will be handled in a fair and reasonable manner.

If a resolution cannot be reached, you may seek assistance from consumer protection agencies.
