FAQ
Visiting Vinteloper
It's always recommended, because we love to know you're coming, but it is not required at all.
We always accept Walk-Ins.
We're not a restaurant.
However, we've intentionally curated a thoughtful menu of seasonal shared plates that encouraged you to linger.
It's a modern lunch vibe.
We also cover the other 'expected' Cellar Door food offering of cheese plates and charcuterie selections.
Not officially, but we will do our best to look after your kids.
Amongst the Vinteloper team there are plenty of little tackers, so we have some experience in this area.
Our freshly baked bread with some simple menu items tends to be a winner.
We have juice and soda too.
Our venue is all about good vibes and easy access for everyone!
Accessible Parking Bays:
We have 1 dedicated bay for Accessible Parking.
This space is on a flat, sealed surface and provides the shortest and flattest path to the main entrance.
The path from the accessible parking spaces to our main entrance is 15 metres long and constructed of smooth, level concrete with no steps, lips, or gaps
Our entire carpark and two entrance pathways are fully sealed concrete which is ideal for mobility devices and aids.
No need to worry about steps or thresholds here – our whole interior space is smooth sailing, making it super wheelchair-friendly.
Our Tasting Room is designed to maximise natural light with large floor-to-ceiling windows.
In the evenings and on overcast days, the space is lit with warm, ambient overhead lighting.
Please let our team know if you would prefer a table in a more brightly lit area.
We have large-print versions of our tasting notes and food menu available on request (18-point font).
Our staff are also always happy to read the options aloud
Our venue is a warm space with an open-plan design and high ceilings.
To ensure the softness of the acoustic environment a sound-dampening ceiling treatment is used throughout the main space.
Even during peak periods, background noise is not intrusive.
Please make a note when booking, or speak to our team to be seated within this area.
Vinteloper warmly welcomes all guests with accredited assistance animals.
In accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, your assistance animal is welcome to accompany you in all public areas of our venue.
We're stoked to welcome your furry companions to Vinteloper!
We're dog people through and through, and we believe a day out is always better with your best mate by your side.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Outdoor adventures only: Dogs are welcome to join you in our courtyard and outdoor areas, but we kindly ask that they stay outside the Tasting Room.
- Leash up: Please keep your doggo under effective control at all times (we know they can get a bit excited when there's a new sniff to be found!).
- Livestock love (from a distance): We're a working farm, so you might spot some sheep or cattle (or Kangaroos) grazing nearby. Keep a close eye on your furry friend, as livestock and native animals can sometimes trigger dogs, which can be a bit risky for both parties involved. This is certainly the case with our dog Huss, which is why he doesn't come up to the farm.
- Boundary awareness: Our venue isn't fully fenced, so make sure your adventurous pup doesn't make a run for it onto the road or into the wider property.
We appreciate you being mindful of these points so everyone – two-legged and four-legged – can enjoy their time at Vinteloper.
Don't sweat it if you're not into the greatest drink on the planet!
We've got a killer line-up of non-alcoholic options to keep you refreshed and feeling good.
Think craft sodas, premium juices, and more. So come one, come all – there's something for everyone at Vinteloper!
We're all about making sure everyone feels welcome and has a great time at Vinteloper.
We do our best to cater to all dietary needs, but some are trickier than others. To be completely transparent, we do struggle to offer meaningful options to Vegans specifically. It's not a prejudice thing, it's just a really tough dietary for a place that has a menu heavily influenced by animal products.
Our wines are vegan friendly at least!
If you have specific requirements, please give our team a heads-up before your visit so we can make sure you're well looked after.
Yes we do.
Our reimagined water tank is excellent on those sunny days overlooking the vineyard. It can seat 14-16 people comfortably.
Our Cellar is also available by special appointment. Contact us by email for full into.
Sorry, but no.
The vineyard is a pristine farm environment.
You could track pests, diseases and weeds into our vineyard on your shoes and clothing.
Our vineyard is also a workplace. Dangerous machinery and equipment may be in use.
Please do not enter the vine rows.
Ask the cellar door staff about the best place to take a photo of the vineyard.
Having learnt from experience we've gone to great lengths to protect our building from the threat of bushfire.
On days declared 'Moderate' or 'High' we trade our normal hours.
On days declared 'Extreme' we trade our normal hours.
On these days, we monitor closely any fire activity in the Mount Lofty Ranges and may choose to close in the event of a Watch and Act Warning issued by the Country Fire Service for any incident in that region.
On days declared 'Catastropic' we will be closed.
Bookings will be notified and if necessary, refunds issued.
We do.
We believe this small investment justifies the delivery of a beautiful and relaxed experience, with greater depth and engagement.
Our tasting flights range from $20pp up to $40pp.
The cost of your tasting may be redeemed upon purchase of wine to take home.
The minimum spend varies so please speak to our team for the full details.
Yes.
We have limited capacity and we are mindful that wine is at the core of who we are and what we do.
We are also conscious that a venue as architecturally stunning as this cries out for such special occasions, so we are open to collaborating with you on your event needs.
We are currently accepting enquiries for Weddings and Private Functions for late 2025 and the full 2026 season.
