Vinteloper - White Label

Hand drawn labels. Hand crafted wines.

When you want something fun on the outside, but tasty in the bottle, this is your go-to.

Just as perfect for a quiet Wednesday cooking for two, as it is impressive looking on the table at friends on Saturday.

 PG/18 Pinot Gris [2018]

Like the Muhammad Ali of Pinot Gris. Float like a butterfly. Sting like a bee. Freshness and texture exist together in harmony, like biting into a crisp granny smith apple.

Bare bones in both label and style.

Poached pear and peach aroma jump from the glass, taking its cue from the faint hue of orange/grey from extended skin contact. Next an austere palate builds generosity as it unfurls. There's stone fruits and herbal tea, along with a gentle cinnamon and vanilla pod spice.

CH/18 Chardonnay [2018]

This feels like something we should have done a long time ago.
Our first release of Chardonnay, 10 years after we established our winery, with bright citrus and grapefruit pithiness there's no denying the powerful fruit profile.

A rich OG Chardonnay, we're not shying from the classics here, but imparting our Vinteloper twist and cool climate restraint. Balance and integration are the number one focus.

4.5 stars / Top of Class - Winestate Magazine - Adelaide Hills Tasting

This edition, from the 2017 harvest, is what we call analogue wine. In car terms, this is a classic, from an by gone era.

Like the E-type Jaguar, or James Bond Aston Martin, sometimes true beauty exists in a lack of technology.

When it comes to Pinot Noir this concept rings true. Like your favourite song, played off 12" vinyl, there's romance and joy inside the bottle.

Cherries, rose petal, Turkish delight and freshly turned earth. It's lean but complex like Pinot Noir should be

TN/17 Touriga Nacional [2017]

Touriga Nacional probably isn't your everyday red wine, but maybe it should be?
With the texture of a soft salted caramel, if red wine could be a cooking method, Touriga would be low & slow.

Originating from the Dao region of Portugal, today Touriga is known as the preeminent variety of Portuguese red wine. A vine that grows robustly in warm conditions it's perfectly suited to the climate & soil conditions of Langhorne Creek.
In fact, our biggest challenge with this variety is keeping it under control!
Our TN/17 from the 2017 vintage feels like the warmth you get on a cloudless sun-drenched winter afternoon.
