Classic Gewürz upfront, playful notes of Lychee and white florals line you up for what’s to come.

A very clean palate bursting with citrus and crisp Golden Delicious apple, and only a touch of the signature varietal Turkish delight.

Finishing persistently bright, a grapefruit tip of the hat and mouth-watering whisper of ginger.

White varietals were ready to pick early to mid-February, and with the style of Gewürz we were aiming for, a parched season was perfect.

Treated with a little soft and tough love, we hand-picked before overnight cold storage. A soft press for gentle phenolic extraction was followed a long and slow fermentation for 3 weeks.

Held in tank to maintain freshness for 8 months, with most of that time on lees for creaminess and stability.

As usual, bottled without fining.

Gewürztraminer is one of the most structural, challenging, and ultimately rewarding wines to pair.
It demands a culinary adventure!

Thai Green Curry (rich in coconut milk and basil) or a vibrant Vietnamese Pho. The slightly exotic, sometimes bitter edge of the Gewürz latches onto the aromatic herbs, while the tight acidity of the wine is perfectly balanced by the richness of the coconut milk or stock.
