So smooth you immediately understand why Touriga is Portugal’s top-dog red grape. 

Like a soft salted caramel as you soak up the warm summer sunshine. It’s the low and slow-cooked brisket of red wine.

The complexity and interest that meet you in the glass here is seriously intriguing.

The 2021 vintage in Langhorne Creek is widely regarded as a "cracker" year, with quality often compared to top-tier vintages such as 2012, 2016 and 2018.

'21 was a perfect season for Touriga Nacional, the native Iberian variety loves a warm, lingering vintage.

Early days for our 2021 release, but we're flush with awards from the 2016, 2018 and 2019 vintage.

Unctuous ruby red fruit, gentle oak and white pepper slap you in the face like an Autumn leaf.

Jumping out of the glass, violets and blue fruits integrate, making this wine effortlessly complex and interesting.

Cue that signature Touriga mouthfeel and heavenly earthy flavour, it moonwalks over the tongue with plump raspberries and sweet blueberries.

The palate tingles while the tannins round out a plump finish. Delightful!

Just 1km from Lake Alexandrina this vineyard is heavily maritime influenced.

Whole berries, fermented in open-top vessels with indigenous yeast over 10 days, maintaining 18-22 °C.

Pumping once daily, then twice once the cap formed.

Settled on gross lees, then racked to seasoned oak post MLF.

Aged in seasoned French oak for 15 months.

Bottled without fining or filtration.
